Die-cutting is, in very basic terms, the use of custom-shaped blades to cut through paper, board or other substrates.

These cutting dies make elaborately shaped wedding invitations, intricate patterns cut into business cards or books cover, and fancy packaging boxes possible.

The guillotines used in our factories can only cut in straight lines. Curved cuts are done with a die. As dies would have to be custom-made for your print job, the cost of the die is included in your quote.

While die-cutting adds to the overall cost of your print job, it allows you to make a big impact with custom shapes and cut-outs.
