Litho printing, also called lithographic printing, offset printing or offset lithography, enables fast, reliable and affordable printing and produces the bulk of mass printing production used by businesses and organizations of all types.
Lithographic printing operates on the simple principle that ink and water don’t mix. The oil-based ink representing the art and text of your design are transferred to water-dampened metal plates by rollers on the press. The ink is then transferred to a rubber cylinder (also called a blanket”) and then onto the paper as it passes around the blanket.
The greatest advantages of traditional offset printing are a higher quality finish and better cost-effectiveness for quantities over a few hundred, especially high volume quantities.
Jetline’s state-of-the-art Heidelberg presses are capable of producing up to 18 000 sheets per hour or 300 sheets per minute.
